The situation:

The Mill, a retail outlet in the north of England, needed a fresh and new TV advert to help promote the brand and bring in more customers to its stores and restaurants.


The solution:

After the client contacted us, we arranged for:

- A site visit; and

- A consultation with the client to discuss their target market, advertising objectives and budget.

Following on from this, we then:

- Created some visual references and a storyboard, setting out how the 30 second TV advert would convey the aspirational shopping experience and brands on offer;

- Auditioned and selected the models for the advert;

- Filmed the advert, on site, over two days; and

- Added in motion graphics and a voice over in post-production, to help convey the key messages required.


The result:

The advert was a huge success: directly after airing, sales at The Mill increased by a record amount.

We have updated the advert on several occasions, to cater for the various key sales periods of The Mill, each time with similar success.
